What is the process of going about having a custom rug made by Creative Carpet
Design?
If you are local we would meet with you for a free in-home consultation to see the space we would be
designing for, take measurements, get an idea of what design and shape you are interested in and get
color samples from you such as paint samples, fabric samples etc. Anything that we can take with us to
our carpet supplier to match up with your colors.
Approx. 1 week later we would meet back with you to go over the design and show you the carpet &
colors we've chosen for your custom rug. If design, colors and carpet selections meet your approval
we have you sign a contract, get 50% down payment to commence work.
Following business day we order all the materials needed for your custom rug. Once materials (carpet)
is delivered to our workshop we begin construction of your one of a kind, custom rug.
Upon completion of your custom rug, we give you a call to arrange a delivery date/time.
How long does it take once I place an order for a custom rug?
We say to please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery but certainly there are times we can deliver much quicker.
Do I have to have a design in mind for my rug or will you design my rug for me?
Either way! You can come up with your own design or you can tell us what you like and what kind of look
you want and we will come up with a design for you. We can even incorporate designs from your home
such as wallpaper, upholstery, architectural features, etc... There are no limits with custom rugs!
How much does a custom rug cost?
It is impossible to answer this question as there are many variables such as how intricate a rug is & the
quality/price of the material used to make the custom rug. As with anything custom made one expects to
pay a higher amount than a mass produced item. To give you some idea...I can tell you to expect to pay
anywhere from $20 sq ft on up for a custom rug. Remember though you will have a custom, one of a
kind rug that will totally match and fit perfectly in your home and reflect your personality! Any shape and
any size!
